PLAYER 01 // LIVE VIDEO ENGINEER
Hi, I’m Takeya. I build reliable live video systems and custom tools for the moments that don’t have a restart button.
I’ve spent 13+ years making technology behave when the room is full and the clock is running.
My background crosses audio visual integration, computer networking, systems engineering, and top-level support. That means I see the whole system—not just the screen in front of me.
I also love making my own tools. When a workflow creates friction, I’m usually already imagining the web app, automation, or utility that could fix it.
VIEW CHARACTER SHEET ↗Four disciplines. One connected system. Choose a cartridge to inspect.
Playback, switching, routing, displays, and calm troubleshooting when the show is live.
Hardware, software, signal flow, and people designed into one dependable experience.
Infrastructure and diagnostics for networked media and IP-based production.
Web tools and automations built around real problems—not imaginary requirements.
CURRENT OBJECTIVE
Understand the audience, creative goal, constraints, and every likely failure point.
Engineer clean signal paths, sensible redundancy, and workflows humans can actually use.
Test everything, communicate clearly, and remain the calmest person behind the curtain.
Capture what worked and turn field lessons into smarter systems and better tools.
